Psalm 17

The Psalms have been the prayer book of God’s people for thousands of years. We immerse ourselves in this book each summer to hear its truth, learn from its wisdom, and be shaped by its vision of the good life.

“Deliver my soul from the wicked.” What does it look like to seek God when people have it out for you? Psalm 17 is a cry for vindication, seeking God’s intervention in the midst of enemies.

Minor Prophets: Zephaniah

“Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you” (Zechariah 1:3). God’s word to his people then is still his word to his people now. Like the Israelites, WE have departed from the Lord. In this series, we preach through all 12 of the Minor Prophets, exploring how God invites His people to repent of their sins and return to him with renewed joy, renewed love, and renewed loyalty.

Song at the end:
”Bring Your Sick” by Nathan Partain

Right, Wrong, & Righteousness | Psalm 7

Everybody worships. And Christians are to worship in biblical ways, shaped by biblical truth. So every summer, the people of Coram Deo dwell in the Psalms - the worship songbook of God’s people - to learn the language and practices of Christian worship. This preaching series is a progressive journey through the book of Psalms, one psalm at a time.

“Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness.” In this sermon, we learn about the righteousness of God, and what it looks like for God's people to live with integrity.
